Collaboration is one of the key factors that can take an event to another level. Tapping into your resources and relationships, whether established or newly formed, have the potential to push your capabilities to new heights. Collaboration is not often discussed in the world of events, especially not here in Africa. However, my businesses rely heavily on the resources of the relationships that I have made in the event industry.

Insert, Mrs. Wedding planner of the UK, known affectionally as Rugie. Rugie is a talented top-rated international wedding planner with years of experience whose work has been featured on SkyNews and ITVNews. The COVID 19 pandemic challenged my industry to tap in and step up in new ways to meet their client’s needs. During the banned and limited travel of 2020, Rugie tasked me to assist her client. Lionheart Events planned and executed a micro birthday celebration for her client visiting Accra from Sierra Leone. We truly enjoyed being able to help a fellow event planner from afar. Every detail was carefully considered to create a visual and sensory experience for the client and guests. As one of our first micro-events, the Lionheart team only had a few days to plan and implement, but we don’t believe in the impossible. A big thank you to Rugie for trusting our team!
